About Carol Hannah
Designer Bio
Carol Hannah Whitfield (or CH) is a transplanted gal from South Carolina and a designer living in NYC and feeding her obsession with dresses on a daily basis. CH began sewing at the ripe age of seven under her mom's instruction. Over the years, her once secretive hobby blossomed into a profession as she found her home in the dreamy world of the bridal industry.
CH is a hands on designer- both artist and artisan. She works with our mills to develop fabrics from scratch, acts as lead patternmaker and draper, and spends her days running our production department a few floors down from our showroom.
Carol Hannah loves the personal nature of bridal, getting to hear her clients' stories, and helping happy folks bring their wedding style vision to fruition. When not in our studio, she can be found scouring New York's vintage markets and visiting our retailers for trunk shows.

WE BELIEVE IN #MADEINNY
No mass production overseas here!
We are proud to have received the Made in NY mark of distinction from the NYC Mayor's office for our commitment to domestic manufacturing.
This lets us implement the highest quality techniques – French seams, baby seams, tiny baby hems, building our own corsets, hand draping – while allowing tons of flexibility in sizing and timing.
WE BELIEVE IN MAGIC
As an independent design house, we are driven by the artistic side of fashion more than the commercial. Yes, we want to sell our dresses, but we won’t sacrifice true design and innovation just to sell more stuff. Our point of view is unique and we don’t just do our version of what’s already out there.
